About Dr. Shantha Gowda

Dr. Shantha Gowda is a licensed clinical health psychologist and one of the few specialists board certified in behavioral sleep medicine. She trained at the Stanford Sleep Medicine Center and later built the first Sleep and Circadian Health Program for Marine Corps Special Operations Command. She now consults for Stanford’s Behavioral Sleep Medicine department and advises organizations such as the FBI, Special Operations teams, first responders, and collegiate athletics.

She is the founder of ThinkNapSleep and ThinkSleep where she combines clinical expertise with compassion to help families get meaningful rest. She is also a mom, so she understands both personally and professionally what it takes to improve sleep in real life.
